Kevin Florent has enjoyed an 18 year career as a professional basketball player, in the European Basketball League. He has played in Germany, France, Israel, and Cyprus. He has won 4 First division Championships, 4 Cup Championships, numerous slam dunk competitions, and many other awards. Kevin Florent began playing basketball at age ten, in Lutcher Elementary school, in Lutcher Louisiana. His gift, work ethic, and passion for basketball was rewarded with a full scholarship to Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he played for four years as shooting guard and small forward. He was the leading scorer and rebounder on the team. Following graduation, Kevin was drafted in the USBL (United States Basketball League) in West Palm Beach, Florida, were he played for one year, before being drafted to Bamberg, Germany. He was awarded Slam Dunk Champion of Germany. The following year, Kevin was recruited to play for Pezoporikos Basketball Club, in Larnaca Cyprus, where his team won the Cyprus League Championship two years in a row. Kevin was again named Slam Dunk Champion and led the team in assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks. He was also named MVP for Pezoporikos Basketball Club. Kevin was then recruited to play in Tour, France (Division 1) and after one season, returned to Cyprus to play for AEK Basketball Club, Larnaca. Kevin played in Cyprus for another 2 years, before signing with Haboel Afula, in Israel for 2 years. Kevin returned to Cyprus and played with Keravnos, Nicosia, where his team won the Cyprus League Championship and also qualified in the final 8 teams in the Sarporta European Basketball Cup. He was also MVP of the playoffs during his season with Keravnos Basketball Club. Following his success with Keravnos, Kevin played for Apoel, Nicosia where his team won the Cup Championship. Kevin Florent ended his professional basketball career as a player/coach with AEK Basketball Club in Larnaca and took his team from second division back to first division, with a perfect undefeated record, in 2004. Kevin continues to enjoy his coaching career with AEK Basketball Club. Kevin’s love and passion for basketball, combined with his expertise and multi-year experience, allow him to promote and encourage the younger generation of future basketball players!

Ο Γιάννης Γράψας είναι πτυχιούχος Φυσικής Αγωγής με ειδικότητα Μπάσκετ κάτοχος Phd., & Msc., Προπονητικής του ΤΕΦΑΑ Κομοτηνής με ειδίκευση στο μπάσκετ και στην Βιντεοανάλυση τεχνικής- τακτικής με Η/Υ. Τον Οκτώβριο του 2008 ταξίδεψε στην Φιλαδέλφεια των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών με Υποτροφία από τον ΣΕΠΚ (Σύνδεσμος Ελλήνων Προπονητών Καλαθοσφαίρισης) στα κολέγια Villanova, Saint Josephs, Temple, Drexel, Penn State, De La Salle και παράλληλα στις ομάδες του ΝΒΑ, Φιλαδέλφεια 76Sixers, New Jersey Nets και τους Washington wizards. Προπονητής επί σειρά ετών σε πολλές ομάδες με πιο πρόσφατες συνεργασίες στην Αναγέννηση Φλόγας και Απόλλωνα Καλαμαριάς στην Β΄ Εθνική κατηγορία Ανδρών. Από το 2009 συνεργάζεται με τον ΠΑΟΚ στα τμήματα υποδομής έχοντας υπό την ευθύνη του την παιδική ομάδα (Under17 eccellenza) ενώ παράλληλα, είναι μέλος του scouting team του ΠΑΟΚ. Το 2001 συμμετέχει στους ΧVI Μεσογειακούς Αγώνες στην Τύνιδα με κορυφαία συμμετοχή στους Ολυμπιακούς αγώνες της Αθήνας ως Διευθυντής αθλήματος της ΟΕΟΑ ΑΘΗΝΑ 2004. Αρκετά σημαντικό είναι επίσης και το ερευνητικό του έργο στο χώρο του αθλητισμού και ειδικότερα του Μπάσκετ το οποίο έχει παρουσιαστεί σε διάφορα συνέδρια.
