Alison V Mollet

Ali Mollet is in her fourth season as assistant coach for the Chico State women’s team. Since joining Brian Fogel’s staff in 2012, her contributions have helped the Wildcats win a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) title and earn two trips to the NCAA Championship Tournament. Prior to arriving in Chico, Mollet served as assistant coach and Director of Women’s Basketball Operations at Sacramento State in 2010-11 and spent two seasons as an assistant at Sacramento City College. The San Jose native has coached at the camp and club levels since 2008, assisting for the West Valley Basketball Club in 2012 and twice traveling to Rome to coach the Northwest Basketball Camp’s Italian team. Mollet considers helping players she’s mentored at the high school or junior college level earn scholarships the highlight of her coaching career. Mollet played her college ball at Sacramento State, spending three seasons as part of the Hornets’ backcourt corps. She was a prep star at San Jose’s Del Mar High School, earning four First Team All-Blossom Valley Athletic League honors as well as being named the league’s freshman, sophomore, junior and senior of the year. A McDonald’s All-America nominee as a senior, Mollet still ranks near the top of the school’s career points and assists leaders, and is a member of the Del Mar High School Hall of Fame. Mollet received her bachelor’s degree in digital media communications from Sacramento State in 2008. She earned her master’s degree in kinesiology-sport performance from Sac State in 2010.
